Darn it I definitely did both no no's started off with wax since my hair is pretty short and they were interlocked. However the person that does my locks stopped using wax. Should I be worried about the interlocks only a few where hair is pretty short or should I wash out and start a new? Thanks

Welcome. Like Eagle said, twists are a fine way to get started. But continuing to retwist may make them look "neat", but it puts too much torque on your scalp, which thins out roots, which causes a condition called Traction Alopecia. That's why many "tidy" looking locks show so much scalp between them. It's a form of premature baldness

Welcome. But I wouldn't bother palm rolling. if you don't do it much, it does nothing to create lasting knots. But if you do it enough to see progress, it will actually do severe damage. I palm rolled for the first 2 weeks, and 8 years later the damage is still a huge problem. It thins out your roots to a point that they may not bet able to recover
