welcome but interlocking and crochet and loads of products are all bad ideas
interlocking causes weak spots far more likely to snap off it also causes severe traction alopecia and balding..weak thin roots etc etc
crochet causes extreme damage ..creating the loose (broken) hairs your trying to fix makes them stiff and scratchy and eventualy weak
products build up
if it wasd only gels and poils a monthly or so clarifying shampoo will get it out
but if any ptroducts containing wax were used u need wax b gone to get it out
