yes thats true palm rolling does nothing at all untill you do iot enough to cause permenant harm
ive never palm rolled crocheted backcombed tnr rubbed anything or did anything at all but wash and seperate and well u can see how well they turn out when u just let them happen
It's good that you use shampoo. The natural method frowns on not washing. That's disgusting. Hair needs to be clean in order to lock in the first place. You can use Baking soda and apple cider vinegar in place of shampoo, but either way, your hair has to be kept clean. Be careful, though, what kind of shampoo you use. Normal shampoo's leave residue that build up in your hair ad can cause problems down the line, like mold, scalp irritations, psoriasis, etc... You should be using a non-residue shampoo. Not an anti-residue one. If you have soft water, Dr. Bronners is very popular. If you have hard water, check out the soaps from dreadlockshampoo.com. They really are the best around
Welcome. If by "rolling" you mean palm rolling, stop. Palm rolling only does 1 of 2 things. If you don't do it much, it will not create lasting knots. It makes them look neat for a few hours, but that's it. If you do it enough to see progress, it is doing severe damage to your roots. I have a video on my page showing what only weeks of daily palm rolling will do. 6 years later, I am still trying to fix the damage
