You can find Biotin in the vitamin section of drug stores and department stores for under 10 bucks. Take 6000mcg daily, if you can't find that strength, just add up tablets to equal it. Just throw out your combs or brushes, and start washing like you already have locks. You hair may not start to form knots yet, but it will begin to section itself in preparation to knot.

My best advice is that no matter what method you choose for starting your dreadlocks, let your hair separate into sections naturally first. This takes about 2 weeks to happen, just by washing your hair and not brushing or finger combing it. So read read read, ask, and decide what you think would work best for you.....enjoy the site....peace
