Long before Lady Gag Gag and all the contrived, unoriginal performers and musicians toeing the line for the record industry and Mtv, Wendy O. Williams was out there pushing the boundaries and blowing minds. I still remember the energy at the show I saw in 1980 (or '81?) in Chicago and the fall-out from the physical beating she got from the cops after a show in Wisconsin. Just incredible. She is sorely missed x0x
