Man it's too bad that you used wax...if you can't get it out with just hot water, there is a wax removal shampoo that was made by a couple of members...you could give that a try Loops and bumps are signs that your dreads are tightening, it's a stage and they will eventually smooth out

man that sounds pretty bad ... this is the shampoo I mentioned- All-Natural Dreadlock Wax Removal Shampoo It's not expensive and it couldn't hurt to try
