Thanks SE!! I ended up doing the same backcomb/TNR combo as I did with my first dreads... BUT I think it was much more TNR then anything and I think I was pretty lazy about it because it took me about 2 days where as my first dreads rook me I swear like 3 months! I was also working full time then though but it is weird that it took me so long the first time. And they didn't shrink that much at all when I did them which again points to it being more TNR because I remember with my first set they shrank ALOT and I think it was more backcomb/less TNR.
They are very natural looking though. I of course don't do anything to them except wash them and rip apart starting congos (well and dying them :s). And they are 8 months now!! I can't believe how time flies! In a few more months it will have been a year since I was excitedly waiting to start them again!
I need to get a good picture of progress. I seem to not be so good at that. They really have come a long way but it doesn't show too much in pictures. Although the red does make it a little easier to see!
and remembering back to when u 1st joined and our discussions then yoir dreads are really turning out to be quite natural looking im not sure what method u ultimately went with in the end but they are lookig awesome how far ya in now?
