welcome  well 1st off  you dont "create" neglect dreads if u had dreads already in a week theres nothing to worry about

but  what are you washing with..and how are u rubbing agressivly or only carefully scrubbing he scalp not hair

are you towel or air/drip drying

and lastly neglects likethat   there will be steps forward and back but it will surely progress over time..not a week but months
