Welcome. But the wax will only slow down, if not stop, the locking process. At Best. If you leave it in, it will create an ideal environment for mold to grow. Wax is a hydrocarbon. It will NEVER wash out in normal soap and water. It requires a detergent to get it all out. In time, it will get sucked deeper into your locks, making them feel like they are more mature than they are. But it's just the hardened wax you feel.
