Welcome. It sounds like you rally want to take care of your locks. As such, NEVER use honey in your hair. It's food. Not a hair product. It'll make your hair sticky and tacky, and won't wash out well.
The aloe is ok if you want to make them look neat for a special occasion, but it will slow down your process, because it acts like a conditioner and untangles knots
Welcome to the community J.B. I see you had dreads once before, hard to never have them again isn't it! This site has all the healthy info you will need to keep your natural journey happy. The dreaducation section at the top of the site got me off to a great start, a good place to begin. There are groups on this site you can join, just use the search bar near the top left and type in music groups or band groups...it will get you to those posts...you can connect with other people with your same interests....Enjoy the site and your second journey.....Peace
