i like my flat dreads but i do notice that the closer to the root they get the more round they get. i think it really has to do with section size also. i have a few sections that are a sort of flat triangle shape and the locks are developing a more flat shape to them. i don't care though. thats why i went natural in the first place. i don't want perfectly formed cylinders:)
It's not that. I don't mind. It's a concern that even I had when that one started to flat out. But it just seems like a silly question. How many people do you know with flat locks? Do they ALL talk to each other? How could each know how to round them out if they didn't. Someone would need to be spreading this top secret method

neither do I. That one is a rectangle and is at a strange angle on the back of my head, so it just happened to flop that way and grow on it's own
