I'd like to believe it. Well, not really. But where did you hear this? All I saw when I google searched it was a few opinions of people doing bad math
acrualuy locks of love does donate 25% of the hair collected to cancer patients 75% gets sold
its a scam because they collect hair as donations then sell most for profit, if is=nbsrtead they paid you and donated a percentage then thats a worrhy cause..or if they collected donations and sold only 3% or whatever to cover operating expenxes then thats another thing
but to claim to be acharitry and instead be more about profit then doing good i wpuld never support them
I can't find anything that says it's a scam other than a few opinions. The numbers don't even add up to is being a scam. They say that they can't take take all of the hair that is donated. And the hair that is unusable in wigs for kids is shipped overseas and sold to makes wigs for others.
Where did you hear it was a scam? I'd like to know so I could tell her with proof
This was back in '09. She cuts it every year or 2 and donates it to locks for love. They can get at least 2 wigs from her hair every time they cut. It's that thick.
She wanted to cut it for the wedding, but her mom wouldn't let her. now her hairs the longest I've ever seen it. How long it is in that picture is about how long she normally likes it. She hasn't cut it since the wedding, but she plans to soon
