I'm 5 months in neglect and my hair is still forming into dreads so I won't be blunting my tips.
If thats the look yr after you can do it right away, you don't need to wait. I think some people who crochet dreads wait a while till they blunt there tips but I don't see why you have to wait. Just go easy with the hook so not to break hairs.
Thanks, that makes me feel much better. My girlfriend has crochet the roots multiple times since i have started. i bet that is the reason. i havent crochet in about a week in a half and the are looking better. how long was it before yall blunted your tips
when yr hair grow out abit at the root they should stop sticking up so long as you don't crochet the roots tight again. Yr gonna nned at least 3/4 inch unknotted hair at root so how ever long it takes for yr hair to grow that much 3-5 weeks prob
well...mayb b not 4-5 months thats kinda long.. lol. give it like a month to a month and a half...
whben u remove the wzx and recover from the crochet
