mhmmm my scalp used to be the worse u can imagine but the bs/acv and oils has made it nearly perfect..id even tried experimental treatments (god they stunk) but the simple pure natural cure was the best

1st set only lasted a year or 2 then i cut for school then started again i seperated religiosly to keep em from congoing (tho 3 or 4 still did) for 17 years then when the thin dreads were breaking from dragging and being stepped on i stopped seperating and let them all congo like crazty but yea it would be hard to seperate if u let them all go into 1 big mess..u would get a unidread

There's always using a sea salt spray. Mix about 3.5% salt to water in a spray bottle and shake it well. You can add any oils you want to this, but never just use it as a normal spray for itchies. salt sprays should only be used within 2 hours before washing your hair. If you leave it in longer, you can dry out your scalp something fierce and it'll make you itch out of control. But salt sprays can speed it up.

Some people find that wearing a wool tam helps. I never noticed much of a difference in time. It might speed it up a little bit, but reall only by about a month or so. And that's not a long time in the span of how many years you'll have locks.

I hear you. I have one bead that was my wife's when she had locks, but it only fits on one baby lock and not well. I keep having to feel it to make sure it is still there. You could wrap them, but better to just let them be and start to form on their lonesome. Then as they mature you can decorate them as you feel

Cool. If you just started neglect, beads are a better bet for you than wraps, unless the wrap is short. They keep your hair separated, but also are sometimes too tight and stop some movement. If you are just starting, beads let them move the most
