yes water always finds its level, but level is in relation to what?  the center of gravity so level iks always curved

now you say "the horizon rises to the eye level'  false. the horizon only drops by 3 degrees at the maximum altitude a baloon can reach because of the immense size of the earth

simple geometry and while the horizon drops, the horizon is the only thing  to draw the eye to it so your eye drops 3 degrees to the horizon

you said you watched the sun set

on a flat earth it would never rise or set just circle over head and never drop below 26 degrees above the horizon

if the sun touched the horizon its because of 2 factors, 1 curvature and 2 the spin

now you can measure the suns  rays angles from both sides of the earth, at sunrise, on 1 side sunset on the other and the angles of the rays will be nearly perpendicular to eachother, so much so youd need very accurate and sensative measuring devices to measire a millionth of 1 degree difference because the sun is 94 million miles away

that is 1 of dozens of ways that distancfe was measured then verified by helios 1 and 2 , probes sent to circle the sun

now lets look at your "it looks the same  from sea level or a mountaintop"

the earth is 24,000 miles around mount everest is 4 miles tall

most mountains are under 2, in fact above 2 is when you need oxygen

planes fly at 5-6 miles up

why would you expect it to look diferent when your still so very close to sea level?

your mistake is in missunderstanding how big the earth is and how tiny we are by comparison, and how  low we are to the ground even when flying so high

now i want you to think about something...

when your at sea level.. your eye at sea level you cannot even see a mile at 1 foot abhove the ground 1.2 miles at 5 feet 2.7

its simple your looking out over a curve

you are observing a curve a moving ball and not knowing it

as for the stars, because of the immense distances betwen stars, the speed they move at, and  the speed the light takes to reach us, it would take 250 million years to see any observable diferences in the stars

and thats only the stars in our own tiny galaxy

any 2 of the trillions in the milkey way belt

now orion the constelation many of the stars are within our galaxy, spinning with us, but 1 of the stars in his belt is actually a nebula where stars are being born as you see here

to us however it appears as a single star

have you ever looked at the sun through a telescope?

ever seen mercury pass in front of it?

how about venus?

obseve how both planets orbit the sun and the huge distances from side to side  and how tiny they are compared to the massive sun

for that matter watch  solar mas emmisions  and flares  erupting out millions of miles from the sun

you can observe for yourself that the sun cant possibly be 30 miles across and 3000 miles up

if that were true tyhen new york city  would be  the size of the sun from the coast of france, and the entire   north and south american cozastline would be easily seen from anywhere on earth.. after all the coastlines longer thejn the sun is far away

now if you were never exposed to the flat earth hoax (thats all it is) you would never question your observations  because sunrises and sunsets are all the evidence youd need of a spinning ball

but the fe cults very good at making you conjfused about the things you can plainly see for yourself

buy a telescope and wsatch the planets circle the sun...and spin

they all do it and so do we

ofcourse you can stay, but i thought flat earthers didnt believe in the moon (its a hologram) because the moons gravity causes tides and ofcourse gravity can't exist because if it did walking south would be like climbing a mountain, and the gravity would cause the edges to pull inward collapsing  it into a ball

so if you celebrate the lunar aniversaries you recognize the moon as a planet not a hologram  a made up lie by nasa just to fool you into thinking round objects exist in space

i find most feel insignificant living  on a spinning ball just 1 of trillions   unimportant unless they are the center of the universe and the universe nothing but a light show to entertain them

Today is the one lunar month born-day anniversary of my new baby dreads!  This is my third attempt at growing dreads and I AM so excited to do it proper with (or without) this community's involvement!!

The first couple of pix are of the dreadlocks I had "installed" while living and building an eco-village in Senegal Africa last year.  The next couple are of my "Natural Dreads Day #1"(28 days ago).  And, the balance are from today...  In-Joy!!  And, Much LOVE, Respect and Gratitude to ALL here!!
