ok, before i start i'd like to say i'm sorry for my grammar XD.

as you can tell i'm still in the early stages of my journey, but i was wondering if it was normal to hear like little popping or rather crinkling sounds when you compress a dread between you're fingers.

I noticed this after washing and drying my locks and i'm just wondering if this is normal or not.

Any info or advice  would be greatly appreciated, thank you

well when i'm washing and drying them, i normally squeeze them to get all the water out, but yes (unfortunately)my locks  backcombed, ripped, crotcheted  and sadly rootflipped :/

thank you for replying, greatly appreciated

yea see how easy it is to diagnose things?   I have a very close to 100% rate of guessing what was done to the dreads simply by symptoms like  you described

..well lets say 99.8% theres always a confusing case from time to time

thats the "squeeky' feeling people describe like a grinding..its al the hairs inside that were broken
