1) If you've got 2 bottles, go for it. I don't so I can't.

2) For young locks, just let them air dry. That's the best way. Don't rub your head at all with a towel. It creates a general knotty mess that ends up needing to be separated more often. Plus you can rub in a bunch of knots one time, and then rub out all that progress another time. So it's just better to not rub your head with a towel at all.

When they stat to mature, and tighten up, you can take a towel and squeeze out excess water. But young locks don't hold water like that, so it's not necessary.

It wouldn't hurt the mixing of the oils to have the water in there too. But... It's so much easier to add the water to the bottle when the BS is already in there, than it is to add the BS to a bottle filled with water. And you don't want to leave BS mixed with water all night. When BS mixes with water, it releases CO2 and O2. The longer it sits, the more gas is lost. The O2 is what does a lot of the cleaning. So you don't want to lose it all before you want to wash.

So, yes, add the oils alone and let sit over night. The next day, add the BS and then water. Mix well, and pour

I have an old Vitamin water bottle. It's 1 liter. I put about 15 drops teatree, 15 drops rosemary, and 10 drops peppermint in it. If I can, I do this the night before. The longer the oils sit together, the better their scents mix. But that's not as important. Then Mix 4 tbls BS. Fill to the top with water. Shake it well so that everything dissolves. Then pour it on. Wait 10 minutes. Rinse off.

Add about 1-3 tbls of ACV (1 for baby locks, 3 for mature locks) to the bottle. add the same amount of oils to this. Fill to the top with water. Mix well. Pour.

For baby locks, rinse it off right away. For mature locks, let it sit for no longer than 5 minutes. Rinse

Dry
