the thing you gotta understand is dreads will form without any work and the less u do the better the more u work on them the more harm you do and u did a great deal
patience is what u needto drad the loose hairs at the roots of your last set only needed more time thats all
you cut them in unser a year didnt you? they did not have time to dread and to have the roots tighten

funny thing is i could tell all that by looking at themheat is only 1 of 3 ways to remove wax and will only get out a percentage (i doubt anything will get it all) u can also try scrubbing the hell outta em for hours using liker dawn dish soap in mass quataties, or using an industrial strength but still natural and safe solvent like dissolve it or goo goneeven with all 3 methodsu gotta do it way betyond when u think your done
