Thanks for the welcome Barrellady, I just finished washing. I did the sea salt baking soda soak, and followed up with the ACV rinse. Thanks for your knowledge. I'll be posting pics to my timeline here shortly.
Hi AJ, a belated welcome to the community. You can do the sea salt spray, a sea salt soak, with both of these just rinse out by the 2 hour mark. You can also add it to your baking soda wash, just let it sit in for the 10-20 minutes. So whatever is best for your time frame will work for you....Peace

You can't magically reattach broken hairs. Your locks can heal a bi after just a few sessions, but they will still always be weak. Prolonged crocheting can cause them to get so weak they snap under their own weight.
Also, crochet hooks cause your locks to get stiff and hard. The most mature locks should always be soft and spongy. As they get hard, they trap water longer. This increases the probability of mold and mildew growth.
