Welcome. I hope they didn't use any wax or gels when they did it. Wax only prevents locks from ever maturing. At best... At worst, it creates a perfect environment for mold and mildew to grow inside of your locks
Welcome. In case you haven't heard it before, palm rolling isn't worth it. If you don't do it much it doesn't actually create lasting knots. It does clean them up for a few hours, but once you sleep it just goes back to normal. If you do it enough to see progress, it will do sever damage to your roots
