Hey I missed your dread-aniversary, congrats!
Hello, i hope you have been well, just wanted to say hi.
Welcome. If you want the bands out, take them out. They will only delay progress and cause major problems down the line
welcome the bands got to come out the tn\r wasnt nesacary to begin with so never should be redone
what are you washing with..and how (as well as drying)
Oh yeah, read the dreaducation section for healthy dreadlock information.....peace
Welcome to the community Brandi. Guess what, your twist and rip sections did what they were suppose to do, they are only starter sections. Rubber bands will melt and work their way in your hair, being stuck, so take those out. They also cause weak points where they are. The best dread shampoo was created by a member on this site. Dreadlockshampoo.com. You live in an area with very hard water, this is one of the few shampoos that work perfectly with that type, leaves no residues behind. I have hard well water and have never had a problem since using this.
I have a posting to help you along the way, as I also started with T&R. http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/just-starting-out-what-to-expect
Hope you did not retwist them tightly, they need to be loose to dread properly.....peace
Welcome to Dreadlockssite peace be with u on ur journey=)
If I continue my education, I want to find a school that teaches naturopathy. All about nature and its medicines and remedies lol. Even through food. :D...
