Hi! I am a fellow kiwi dread head, mine are new and were done with the backcomb and crochet method... i see you use crochet for maintenance, do you find it makes them stiff and scratchy after it is done?? Mine are awfully stiff and scratchy at the moment...one side is ok, the other not so much....

One use to start wont destroy them, but causes severe damage and drasticy delays dreading by 6 months.But it's the repeatd maintenance that destroys themThrow away the hook, never use it again...
