Hehe, the nostalgia is the best part. My son is 7 and I absolutely love every part of his transition into a young man but miss the snuggly toddler that used to climb out of his crib and into my bed every night while I was asleep. It's amazing how in tune to the simplest things children are, and how they express it. Devlin calls my dreadlocks my "princess hair" because he noticed that I take care of my locks differently than previous hairstyles.
"No one has yet fully realized the wealth of sympathy, kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a child. The effort of every true education should be to unlock that treasure."
Such a true statement, my little guy is 2 and copies everything I do. I love it.
