backcomb isnt the greattest of methods and theres a good chance they will fall apart in a month.. but thats ok u never had to backcomb anyway u can just leave it akone and let it dread
it will dread fine after the backcomb falls apart but the hair will have permenant dammage from being bhackcombed (that donrt mean theyre destroyed just dammaged)
from here on out just wash and seperate and thats all
but if any roots are over an inch u probly szhould redo em smaller
njo rubber bands rubber bands are very bad ideas look in the left side collum in all the links theres a ripping popping seperating guide
but basicly pull 2 dreads away from eachother while wet and the connecting hairs break
do it often till mature then u can do it less

welcome u backcombed thats why they look like a clown backcombing is not the best method..at all they will settle down in a few weeks tho
