its all conditioner so will prevent it from dreading once u gain enough length

 Thank you for the advice @Soaring-Eagle. I do not have African hair type rather thin straight hair. My hair is currently only about 1.5-2.5 inches and it will be a few more months before I start to see some serious knottage. I am not positive that it is residue free or not but it only has around four or five ingredients and it is doing well at keeping my hair healthy for now and if I start to  see residue I will surely stop using it.

i assume you have african hair type?  if so that MIGHT be a good choice in shampoos if  not its a poor choice

make sure its residue free in any water type though pure soaps in hard water leave lots of residues
