No issues whatsoever. Not weak points, no breakage or anything. However, let me add that my hair is VERY thick. I am of Jamaican decent, my mom started locking my hair when I was very young. By the time I was 4 and we had moved to Chicago...my hair was terribly long and HUGE. LOL My hair also grows very fast. September 13th will be my two year "locversary". I cut my hair to start all over and it is already to the middle of my shoulders blades. So I am not saying that some will not have issues with interlocking. Im just saying I don't - and I think a lot of it has to do with the type of hair I have.As far as products. I wash my hair in Lemon Grass Soap. That is it.

those disappearing gaps ARE THE WEAK POINTS and u add more every time u interlock..a weak point becomes a weak section then a weak dread ..Theres never any reason to ever interlocki...it does absolutely nothing good only harm.. u stop the real dreading from happening instead replace it with a series of weak spots...just stop simple as that and your dreads will be much happeier (and youll have way more money too)
