Welcome. If you want to get started, with shorter hair, it's not impossible. Get yourself a lock-friendly soap and wash like you already have them. Your hair will begin to section itself out naturally. When it gets longer, if you want to keep going natural, you're already set. If you want to use TnR or back combing, you'll already have defined sections to work with
Welcome Phillip, you came to the right place to learn all about growing healthy dreads and are off to a great start just being here. There is a product called Biotin which promotes hair growth, just take it for 3 months. It can be found at your local drug store in the Vitamin section and is very low in cost, under $10.
Read the dreaducation pages, ask questions, and you will know the best way for you to start your dreads.
Welcome and Happy Dreading.
Always, Hippie Love
Velkommen Sofie.
Welcome. Eagle's right. KB products are toxic and have been responsible for many problems with locks.
Olive oil is thick and hard to wash out. Plus it conditions way too much.
Dr. Bronners is great, but if you don't have soft water, it will not rinse out
