you can tell at 1st glance you used crochet..which is EXTREMELY BAD FOR DREADS
it does severe harm, prevents any dreading for 6 months and takes 3 years to recover from just one use!
throw the hook in the trash and read through the thousands of crochet recovery posts (note the crochet recovery sections new tbats why most crochet recovery posts are scattered in other sections)
knottuyboy should also be boycotted till they stop promoting wax use

don't use bronners if you have hard water
www.dreadlockshampoo.com is as ethical..or more so then bronners.. as natural organic vegan etc but made for hard water
instead of superfatted oils, its beer based, with organic essential oils and microfine clays that bind to dirt and oil and carry it out of your dreads ..a super clean
they are made specificly for both dreads, and the issue of hard water and most natural soaps (as apposed to detergents)
give them a try

welcome but why are you using that butter and oil
yes i assume your African American (right?) so need a little moisture ..but with proper washing that can be very little to none and overuse of oils and creams ..especially creams can be detrimental to the process
