I guess we toss and turn a lot because the back is matting and shrinking considerably. On day 2, our hair was pretty stuck together so staying on top of it is vital. His hair was over 20 inches and he lost 6 in the back. I've lost about 4 inches in length so far. One month in and we have a few dreads! How exciting.
cool keep updating and staying on site woot peace an luv to ya
Mrs. Spivey speaking, Thanks for the comments. @tara c: I know all about that painful Congo thing since my roots must be weak, I don't have many real dreads and the hair was coming out of my scalp when moving from not sectioning properly. If this pace keeps up ill be very pleased since patience isnt one of my best qualities but i wont give up. @Seph: I guess you're in the envious of his hair club, too. Still able to? Did you have to cut yours?
WOW. Yeah, definitely stay on top of the separating so it doesn't get so bad; separate as often as you need to, as your dreads mature, the amount of separating will decrease. I have to say, as annoying/potentially-painful congos can be in the wrong places, they do look pretty cool lol.
wow yea they will need alotta seperating
No, but its a huge struggle so chipping at it every once in a while only yields a little result. For the most part ours are separate, just the roots are attached and I guess time and ripping will get them apart.
Are you gonna let them all congo?
