They'd love Ringing Rocks. WVa would be amazing too. I'd recommend that for them too. But maybe not the boulder run. For them, and anyone else, I'd recommend Dolly Sodds
Thats crazy fast wow. I dont do much of traveling but if ever I do I will always keep this in mind and try to make it one of the things I do course the children would be coming they love boulders as well
If you ever come to Philly, hit me up, I'll definitely get you directions there. I'm sure my wife would want to go again too.
And if you ever go to West Virginia, go to Chestnut Ridge. There is a trail near there with an annual boulder run. It's down a cliff towards a river and back up. It's about 1 mile down and unbelievably steep. You don't have time to look for your next boulder. You just go. The fastest time down and back was, I think, around 12 minutes.
That just sounds amazing and way to cool I would so go nuts for sure. In prospect I like to go to the avenue of the boulders and do boulder hopping great little sport fast rushing water and just a lot of beauty
Not part of the same park, but there is a great park near me called ringing rocks. It was formed when glaciersreceded, and is just a massive area of boulders.
Most of the boulders have huge amounts of iron in them which makes them ring when you hit them with a hammer or another rock. They have all sorts of different pitches. If you have 2 hammers you can go nuts
Oh I like rocks very much so that would be cool to see for sure
There's a rock throne in a park right outside of Philly kind of like this
