No problem. I'd hate to see someone end up in the same fight as me. At first I tried to use rubber bands to pull in the hair around the root, but that only leads to thin/weak spots in your locks. Then I switched to hemp wraps. It worked a bit, but not much. I tried a gel that is specifically made for locks, but that only worked on the locks that weren't so bad off. But one of the is just in so bad of shape, It's only a matter of time till it just falls off

Welcome. But don't bother palm rolling. It only does one of 2 things. If you don't do it often, or rough, it does nothing to create lasting knots. If you do it enough to see progress, it will do extreme damage that can't be fixed easily. I palm rolled daily for the first 2 weeks, and 8 years later I am still trying to fix the damage, with no end in sight.

Welcome. Neglect is always healthiest. But I wouldn't discount the other methods because they fell out. That's completely normal for the first 4-8 months. Lock formation is an ebb and flow. When you wash back combed locks, they fall apart before they tighten. Same with TnR. Both methods don't form locks. They only help section you hair for where you want locks to generally form.
