The Dalai Lama says the desire for enlightenment is a good desire, I would think that it may be the highest of desires, like Plato having the form of love or the love of wisdom the highest love. Desire does not have to be bad, only directed.

yea dude this state is pretty shitty, i wish i knew where there were more dreads around, it would at least make me feel more welcome and at home
