Oh no problem I love helping I wish some one would have helped me when I started I just shoved a pen through my ears when I was 15 and got a blow out so now I have a scar on the back of my ear! but you cant see it which i guess is a good thing and I took them out and started over going slowly with tapers but you should be fine if it stays irritated for longer then a week i would just go back to your 2g's for a little while and then try it again. www.bodyartforms.com is an awesome website with the largest selection of organic jewelery online and they also have really cheap tapers so you can get to the size you want on the cheap side :) I love there site!

Well I usually take them out when I shower and just rinse my ears with water or I make a sea salt solution and clean them with a q tip and the sea salt will help a lot with "angry ears" lol. you might also be able to tell that your ears are making seblum thats that white stinky stuff that comes out of the holes and the bigger you go the more your ears will produce it yuk so the sea salt solution will help that as well :)

yeah I would wait at least a month to go up another gauge and I would start lotioning your ears everyday with some oils I use either jojoba oil or I buy holey butter it smells like chocolate :) you want your ears to get nice and stretchy before you go up because you dont want to bleed at all you could get scar tissue or a blow out and you don't want either :) and as long as your ears are nice and stretchy you can use a double flare but some people cant use them unless they go up a size first.

Hi! I would be happy to make a tam for your husband. I make 2 sizes usually, a standard and large. Maybe if you could bundle his up on the back of his head and measure around the largest part and then measure around the head where a tam band would sit, I could get a pretty accurate idea of the size he needs.
