Habit? I have my fingers in my hair all of the time and I think it's better to just leave them alone...if your fingers are running through, your probably disrupting the formation of new dreads...I wouldnt worry about it though, we've all got our thing and locs will prevail.

Sociology hm. I read a book that was on the early days of Christianity from a sociologists perspective. It was alright but really speculative.

I read the classics in literature most.  I am reading the Iliad right now. My favorite authors are the 19th Century Russians. Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Gogol. Ya. I love Douglas Adams.

I have read some African poets and authors. Jamacia Kincaid I liked. I haven't read any Native Americans literature though.

Hey Mia. How are you doing? I see your a student and athlete. What do you studay and play?

I study history, live philosophy, and literature always has a hold of my mind. I play basketball and footfall quite a bit. One of my football teams actually one a championship recently. We got a t-shirt for a prize!

Ya I really like literature. Poetry, novels, and essays.

Travel lately has just included a few trips down to Miami. Off to Baltimore and Hartford February/March, then Atlanta late March, Orlando in April. This summer will see the real travel, though.

Hi Mia,
Things are going well here. The journey is...well...a journey! As far as my dreads go, I am at the tightening with lots of lost length phase...just over 5 months in. Enjoying them, even though they are shorties! :) Life in general is great, looking for adventure and learning tons. How about you?
