yeah the natural way might take long but people say it's the journey they find interesting. if you're having doubts about it then go the natural way for a few weeks or months and if you feel that you're not making progress you could always backcomb or try twist and rip method.

mine were backcombed. the natural way takes a long time for some. i think for me it would have taken a few years to get some dreads. that's why mine were backcombed.
