Id cry if I had to cut them out again. This is my 4th time dreading every time they just get so messed up, and I always wondered why. I used bees wax everytime except this time so this time they are a lot better than the others but instead of just sucking, some of them are real stiff like you said, an Ive been trying to figure out why and now I know! :)
thank you for your advice on getting the wax out! i've gotten probably 80 or 90 percent of the wax out. i now have 27 loose natural dreads left which are very loose but still there, and i am just letting them be and not fuss over them. thank you so much. peace and blessings to you.
I can try that out I dont want no bald spots lols.with the popping method will my roots be neat or puffy because the middle of my head is still soft and puffy but the rest of my hair is doing good. Do u know if dreadhead hq accelerator is any good seems to be working for me tho?
Tyty.u mean stop twisting and freeform? I havent retwisted my hair in about 2 in a half months to let my hair do its thing. but i dont prefer freeforming for me not agaisnt it I just like mines maintained.also by looking at my picture so you think my hair will thicken alittle bit as they fully mature ?
Thanks for telling me not to re-TnR the ends... saves me a lot of time lol! I'll leave them alone and let them do their thing. I have a question though, I have a few flat dreads. I have noticed that the ones that are flat are because the sections are more wide then they are tall. I didn't section really I just picked up pieces so none are even. Just wondering if you think the flat ones will round themselves out over time or if they will always be flat because of the way I sectioned (or didn't section) them? It doesn't really bother me if they stay flat, just kind of curious.
You know I'm just lucky I came across this site when I did. I found it while I was searching google about interlocking. I was trying to find out how to do it because my dreads are starting to grow out and I wanted them to look cleaned up somewhat. I'm just another head saved by this site. Thankyou so much for all of your helpful advice.
Thank you for your advice it is very helpful as I'm new to dreadlocks and don't know much about it I could use all the help I can get. Why is it that you want them to be dry at first. I heard some horror stories about ppls locks getting brittle and even popping off at the roots I guess I just don't want any cotastrapfies. I do know that it's not good to put a bunch of gunk in your hair as it can be harder to keep em clean, I will use it more sparingly from now on.
