1 Week Journal

I'm king of using the blog function as a way of journaling my progress in dreads and what's been going on in my life. This isn't necessarily meant to be deep or entertaining, just cathartic for me.

It's been a week and a day since I did tnr. It's been a very enjoyable week. I've crocheted 5 new…

My first blog about dreads

Hey! I'm kinda new to this whole dread thing. I've been interested in dreads for a long time but a few days ago I had a really strong urge to get dreads. So I googled and youtubed about people who had dreads and about how they got their dreads…

Quickly approaching a month

Ok sooo, I haven't made a post about the actual 3 week mark or the 4 week mark, so I'm going to lump them together since there are 4 weeks in a month and September is almost over *tear.

Umm so the back and the sides are progressing more rapidly than the top is.. That's kinda cool haha. And I have noticed my inner beauty shining through :D people have been nicer to me and a lady at my church (whom I rarely talk to) said that I had pretty skin the other day.. I thought that was sweet of…

Dread Journey

From June 22nd- day one till NOW, um, July 3rd... it's been a week and a half since I've had my WHOLE head dreaded.. and I am lovin' every minute of it.

I even got a COMPLIMENT on my locs today at IHop!

Washing time is cut 3/4.. I only wash my hair like once a week, with about 2 Tbsp baking soda dissolved in about a quart of water scrubbed into scalp. I rinse it with clean water and then pour over a mix of about 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar with about 4 Tbsp Sea…

Week Four AND Five Vegetarian.

okay, last Friday I was very distracted by someone, so I had completely forgotten about this...Anywho, I've made it five weeks without being made to eat meat, or eating it on my own. Yay for me, right??? I'm all excited and stuff. My family is cooking meat as I am writing this, and I feel so sick to my tummach that it is not even funny, I used to be hungry, not i don't feel too well, but ima open the window that I am sitting by..anywho, ah, that's…
