Namaste! Reading my first few blog posts..It’s amazing how much i have changed and grown since then. My locks are doing great, i am feeling fanfuckingtastic! Nearly six months and lots of things are happening to my hair now...

had to complete rip apart a congo on the back of my head some days ago...

and today i had to rip several dreads, including the ones of my fringe, and some of the sides, because there were hairs from one dread inside the other... now i'm with a lot of frizz, but the dreads are not harmed [the sections still together, and still tightening well]...

Most of my dreads are quite stiff, and a couple of them have hard spots. I assumed the worst: WAX. So I combed out one of the thin-ish, only half-way dreaded ones out, expecting to see the horrors of waxy remains...but no. There was literally nothing there. So I dunno why they're stiff or anything. Anyway, I decided to comb a couple more out, mostly the ones in the front/middle, because...the ones in the middle are basically forced into sections that don't feel right, and I get the feeling…

I stopped brushing my hair, and threw out my shampoo. I decided that since thats when I started just letting it go...thats when I'd call it "birthday". Yes I did VERY LIGHT back-combing about a month ago...but only once and mostly I haven't touched them. Happy Birthday babies!

My dread's 4 month birthday will be on December 7th, but I'm just too excited not to post pictures now. There may be a few coming later as well. As you may note from the pictures, they are all developing nicely, and for those that were just a little too awkward and slow, I bound a few together (strategically of course!) with some wool thread that I had left over from a previous crochet project.
