hello im oostan heimach, 

ive decided to let my hairs go on there own.

i started backcombing a single lock a few days ago,

i added a littltle bees wax that i found in my cubbord.

today i realized that wasnt such a great idea,

so i rinsed with two T. bs and 1 sea salt and now here i am waiting to see if my hair starts knotting.

i plann on rinsing again in a few days maybe add some acv to the mix.

just wanted to shout out, introduce myself, see…

although I don't notice any "progress" comparing  my hair  along side others who have done the same it looks to be about

This past week ive been telling my friends i was getting dreads and most of the reactions are something like this "Oh my god. Dreads are nasty and dirty."

Yesterday when i asked my mom if i could get dreads she said "No!! Because they are dirty." Then she didnt even let me explain how they are actually clean and there are many ways of washing them, but she wouldnt stop yelling no. My hair is probably about 2 steps away from dreads already, but parents just dont understand or listen to…

i found that the forced sectioning of my scalp was just too much discomfort for me to handle. after literally ripping a few dreads in half from the base up to free up my natural part i spent a week combing them out. not im a week into letting them do their thing. my hair feels broken and maimed after being so used to dreads but i have faith that, in time, it will heal and be magnificent. i have a 4 year committment to dreadlocks. i was 9 months in and im counting that. as it is i have 179…

I almost combed my hair this morning... lol.

It's funny how not doing something can be rather hard,well to rember you nolonger do that thing,

after so long of doing so that is.  The funnier thing is that I was reminded by a Deadhead HQ comb in the container of combs. The only good use for it I have found is to comb out my beard. Works good for it to.

So as fate may have it my not yet existent dreads were saved.

okay so i went to this store called lush its a storer that makes all organic soaps and stuff for showering and i asked if they had anything for dreads and they showed me this cream they had called r&b its suppose to be mad out of nothing but oils from plants and fruits and things like that that helps the dreads lock better its not wax its cream do you think its safe? i put it on one of mines and it seemed to make it alittle stronger would you trust it?
