"Dawn dish soap or Wax-B-Gone from dreadlockshampoo.com. Hot water, work the stuff into the waxed dreads, let it sit for a bit (I think) then rinse rinse rinse. Repeat several times over the next month or so, then do it some more just in case."

"the wax b gone was tested on pure beeswax it do=id get some out byt required several  applications at least but with extra thick dreds it will take even more..but every time u use it u will get out a lil bit more "

"The blow dryer might work on some waxes, but for the most part, I'd worry that it would melt the wax and just get it more stuck and tangled in your locks.  Melted wax is hundreds of times harder to get out than wax that was just smeared…"
