- Earth mama to two beautiful sweet boys, some fur friends and who/what ever else needs me.
I can be punky looking or hippie looking, whatever my mood decides. In the end on the inside I am always the same. I have a huge love of nature. And I am really into homesteading/survival type things.
I am a stay at home mama so most of my interests now are of things in the home. I like to make anything and everything. The list would go on forever if I listed them specifically. I am an AP mama and crunchy since that seems to be word for being natural these days! I am definitely on the severe end of crunchy with the occasional makeup and hair dye being the only things in my life that do not fit that category. But I have not dyed my hair in a long time and we will see how long that lasts! I even just bought family cloth this year. When I get into that we will see how it goes! My husband thinks I am bit crazy with all my "hippieness" sometimes but he usually comes around. :D
- How long have you been dreading?
- I had locs for 4 years from (feb 6th to feb 6th 4 years later!) but combed them all out 5 years ago. And since Feb 28 2012 again!
- Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
- Backcombing/palmrolling/twist and rip was the method for my first dread journey.
Backcombing/TNR combo method and NO products this time! I won't lie I do get the urge to palmroll a few really flat spots though...
But after the intial guiding I am just letting my roots do their thing! ;)
