- had dreads for 3 years now. also recently become an amputee just below my knee, from some idiot in a car speeding knocked me off my mountainbike. anything i can help with about that though id be happy to help.
from the Isle of Lewis in scotland,then lived in Stirling, now in Fort William. mountainbike, guitar, didgeridoo, climb, hillwalk, any more info just ask :D

- How long have you been dreading?
- since feb '08
- Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
- started with wax + backcomb and an undercut, stopped waxing after a year, started growing the undercut and dreaded that with twist and rip about the 18 month stage, some are still maturing as i have super straight hair but they're all awesome! but yes, dont use wax, ive tried both, t'n'r definately the way to go, unless neglect is an option :)

The root rubbing will help make you bald. locking gel is deffinitly not needed.. especially being that mature. Let your dreads go friend, they are 4 years old."
