Hey man, school hasn't changed. I remember being picked on constantly because I bought my clothes at a second hand shop. For some reason kids feel superior when they pick on those they see as below them, It's fucked up and I really don't know they do. But I bet it'll have something to do with imitating what they see the "cool kids" lol doing on TV. The only advice I can give is you ignore it and when they cease to get a response from you it'll eventually stop. Now that also means not to look intimidated because if you do they got a response.... They're fucking assholes man, that's all there is too it. I grew up in a little town and it was great justice to see how the the majority of these fucks turned out. HA! later they even come up to you and say "aren't you so and so, whats up man long time no see", thats when you get to shake your head turn around and walk away... like others have said hold your head high, ignore the sheep, You know who your real friends are :)
