- hmmm, where to start?
well I've been coming through a bit of a rough patch before I went ahead with my decision to dread, and found this site.
I feelso much better within myself being able to finally pluck up the courage and say ah hang it, I'll do it, and it's just opened my mind and heart to everything, I'm much impressed with how much more whole I feel knowing that this journey is what's really helping through, as well as a wonderful little family behind me to support me all the way :D:D

- How long have you been dreading?
- just starting
- Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
- I'm starting dreads on my own, using the twist and rip method, and a crochet hook for maintenance/weaving,I've only had them for nearly 2 months or so, and so far so good, loving it, I have only got 5 at the back of my head where the nape of the neck and hairline meet (or that general vicinity any ways) and they r looking nice and pretty hott.
I'm using them to practice and try out a few techniques so I can see which is best for me, because I WANT AND NEED to be completely immersed in having them done, and figure what better way then doing it myself, I can be assured of the naturality.

okay, soooo,
I've had an interesting night!
we have a vegetarian living @ our place for the last day, and it's GOOD, but interesting, he's an interesting person, definitely a wealth of knowledge, to me being a meat eater, but also a VERY VERY nice guy, but also, he's helping my partner see the benefits too I guess, but i never thought I would feel so aligned with someone, should I try being vegetarian for a while? he seems to think it really clears the mind and makes you notice…
