- Homeschooling mum of 4 living children and 3 angels. Coordinator of Charity supporting parents whose baby has died in pregnancy, at birth or shortly after. Got my dreads about 3 months ago. Unsure about all the lumps and bumps.
- How long have you been dreading?
- about 3 months
- Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
- backcombing - did use wax but haven't for about 2 months. Use baking soda to wash them.

I believe what you can do is slice it in half like a fillet .. then scrape out the gel and strain it. But I've never don it so I would advice you to either find a discussion that tells how to do it or ask yourself :D
..I'll look for one just in case!
