About Me
palming my shears deciding which way i want hair to fly...as it falls to the floor what a mess but the cut is fabulous...not a tag...not a hair out of place

Two sticks click..... click...... click in silence...click..... click..... click in chaotic madness. It's intoxicating knowing I'm in control. The colors reveal hidden secrets. Stitches give way to new breakthroughs, accomplishments, each telling stories that will never be spoken aloud. Stories of love, pain, abandonment, hope and desire. Above all else click..... click..... click never ending friendship, and unconditional love. These click.....click.....clicking sticks are encouragement of freedom They have the power to create endless works of art and new beginnings.

Whats to be said about the infamous Neurotic Piawacket, well i'm not your typical odd ball. I love deathly morbid things, black humor, being sarcastic. Very open minded and generally out spoken which luckily there is a filter for (most of the time) I keep mostly to myself and i love to be different and to keep people guessing. Over dramatized makeup reflects me as a whole, as well as my many chosen hairstyles, the love for alternative beauty. (Just can't do it like i can) Oddly enough i've chosen cosmetology for a profession which is one day to be pursued. I love working mostly with dreadlocks and color. I love any chance to explore my creative monster, knitting/crochet has become the biggest addiction to my life. For those special few in my life I love to make things that reflect them and our ties as a whole.I recently started my own business for my knits/crochet called Neurotic stitches. I am happily married to a man who knows me better than I know myself, and accepts me for all I am (control freak) (obnoxious), he has bettered me and most importantly completes me, how oddly matched we are. Together we have three sons, a five year old, three year old, and two year old which makes life all the much sweeter and entertaining. They are my little goblins. My Mighty Bambinos!

Help Dreads and School!!!

Posted on September 17, 2012 at 12:30am 6 Comments

A few days ago my three year old told me he wanted his hair like mine. Hearing this made my heart soar. Just thinking about being able to share something so special and natural with my son would be amazing. Later on in the day I shared what my son had told me with my husband, who simply stated that the schools more than likely wouldn't allow him to attend school.  With the schools in the U.S. pressing down on  how the students hair is to be groomed, cut and styled, down to the color. The…

My first set of locks were an epic fail whale. My first mistake was not to research a little longer, so I jumped the gun after seeing the dreadheadhq site. yeah, I know a lot of you are tutt-tutting and shaking your head. Used the shampoo and the dread wax, double no no!! In the begining i wasn't too thrilled with the wax it weighed my hair down and left me feeling icking. After the second attempt I gave up and went wax free. Took a good couple of months just to get the 2 uses of wax out.…

Finding Myself Through My Locks

Posted on April 10, 2012 at 12:30am 0 Comments

I come from a artistic family. Both my parents love anything and everything related to art, drawing, painting, crafts, woodworking, morbid, body painting, etc. So is it any wonder that I would also catch the artitsic bug, no not really. I've played around with art and I'm pretty decent at it, Did the whole drama and Chior thing in high school. Finished Beauty School, loving everything I've ever done. I've cut and styled my own hair, Played with color, and overdramatized make-up. Did the…
