Profile Information

About Me
I'm a registered nurse, a runner, and I started my
Dreadlock journey on November 13,2010. I have a
partner of nine years I'm nuts about, and a nineteen
year old son who is just amazing. I'm into natural living, vegetarian eating, and reducing my mark on the planet.
How long have you been dreading?
Since November 13,2010
Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
The first month or so I was a palm-rolling, clockwise-rubbing DHHQ fool. THEN I found this site, yay!! I felt like wax was a wrong thing for my hair, and this site verified that as truth. I did all the wax removal stuff, and I feel like it's out. I never applied as much or as often as directed anyway.
Now I've been washing twice a week, and separating, and watching the loops and lumps and bumps and squiggles abound. That's good, right?
I do wish I knew someone around here who was supportive of dreadlocks. Rgiht now I am just counting myself lucky to have found dreadlock tolerance in my friends, family and employers tho!!
