- I am Momma to an awesome 1 year old boy. I am obsessed with all things knotty and nail polish-y. I love nature, movies, music, and all things awesome.
- How long have you been dreading?
- My babies are 5 months old
- Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
- I backcombed my dreads. It was the easiest method I tried. I did a couple of RnT ones and really didn't like the way they looked (they looked braided). I have all different sizes from the size of a pencil to a couple the size of those big high lighter markers.
The only maintenance I do is separating at the roots and palm rolling. I know some people say palm-rolling is unnecessary but I feel that it is. I like my dreads round and that helps keep them in line ;)
The only products I use are BS/AVC and a couple of natural residue free bar soaps. I tried Dr. Bronner's but it made my hair feel icky. I love the peppermint for body wash, though!

Last night I got a wild hair up my ass and decided to take some pictures (where did that saying come from? It's hilarious but kinda creepy!). This was after I wrote the longest blog entry in the history of me... so excuse the ick.

I am writing this entry with half a bowl of resin smoked (hey payday is tomorrow, we've been broke for 2 weeks!) and I'm thinking I will use it for all things vane.
You see, I am in love with nail polish and own too many bottles to be comfortable admitting. My issue is that I am afraid to post my stuff on a known blog because I'm not very good at painting my nails not at taking pictures, yet I feel I need validation for owning a undisclosed amount of polish.
