wash once a week- every other week
i use lock pepper(swear by it)

dread gurus☮ soaring eagle ॐ said… crochret breaks tons of hairs creating loose hairs it not only breaks hairs makimg them very high maintenance =because your constantly repairing the damage youir causing by repairing them it makes them stiff way too tight scratchy and eventualy extremelty weak so they break it takes 6 months to recover from 1 crochet use b4 they begin to dread properly its extremely bad throw the hook away ignore the loose hairs u will end up with twice as many as u should have for awhile but they will get better eventually just leave your dreads alone no powder no rubbing no poking holes in them dreads need t be left alone to dread right
