- How long have you been dreading?
- Started June 1 or so. Maybe a bit more into June. Not sure when I did my first dread. It was when I joined this site.
- Dreading methods, maintenance, and products used (if you currently have dreads)
- I've decided to go with a dual approach to dreadlocks. I really love the idea of naturally letting the locks form on their own as I agree that this tends to lead to really unique dreads in my humblest of opinions. I am coupling this approach with the sectioning/ TnR method for all things dredy. My hair has ALWAYS wanted to be knotted up and tangled, it sections easily on its own. I'm only helping it along with the combination of brick pattern sectioning and also some random sectioning. Also just taking a "Meh, whatever happens happens" mind set. Stuff I put into cleaning my hair includes but is not limited to: baking soda, tea tree oil/ (essential oils), Sea Salt, Dr Bronner's, 100% Aloe Vera from my own plant. to be continued...
